BISON 40TH ANNIVERSARY MODEL This Limited Edition Bison Guitar was released to coincide with the launch of the Burns Book Pearls & Crazy Diamonds and commemorate 40 years since the first Bison was made. The materials used are unique, using Indian Rosewood for the fingerboards which was kept in store for these special models since 1965. The necks are made from old stock Beech or Maple and fitted with vintage frets. The body is made from high grade Alder and finished in Champagne Silver Polyester. The fittings are all gold plated and the Rezotube tremolo unit is engraved with the classic Bison head logo. The Scratch plates are white pearloid. This highly prized instrument will only be produced in a very small quantity ( 12 Guitars only ) The Anniversary Bison comes with a Luxury Hiscox fitted Case, Leather Strap and Certificate.

The Apache Guitar is modeled closely to the original
1964 Marvin Guitar
with added features to celebrate the launch of the Burns Guitar book PEARLS
AND CRAZY DIAMONDS by Mr. Per Gjourd. The neck of this guitar is made from the finest 5 star top grade figured maple and fitted with an Ebony fingerboard & pearl binding. The body is made from light weight Swamp Ash or Alder and finished in either white or green sunburst polyester. The three piece scratch plates are made from a white pearloid material and fitted with three hand-wound Rezomatic pickups specially made by Jim Cairnes for this guitar and the Bison Anniversary model. The Rez-o-tube tremolo unit is engraved with the head of an Apache Indian chief, also the headstock badge and tremolo arm. The serial number plate on the back of the guitar also is engraved with the Apache emblem and carries the numbers 001 to 012 limited edition only. This Guitar also has a real diamond inserted into the tremolo arm handle. Luxury case included. They will also come with an advance copy of the Burns book signed by the author and Barry Gibson from Burns Guitars.
